If you are looking for visiting real lifestyle of inhabitants in Ahvaz, why not going to Naderi Street?
In fact, Naderi street is one of the oldest streets of the town which dates back to early Pahlavi era back in 20th century. It’s quite common for domestic and foreign tourists visiting this street in day and night time because of being exposed to local markets with particular architecture.
Another point we can make is, visiting this street makes everyone feel blessed as they will be exposed to several local markets, street foods, cafes, or even university students who are eager to practice their English with foreign tourists. Even there are some local shops that sell donates from long time ago.
Luckily, it’s been well paved by local govt in order to allow people walking in this street better and even enabling locals to sell their own products such as street foods, Arabian coffee, etc. As travel consultants, we would highly recommend visiting this street as “MUST_SEE” while you are in Ahvaz despite visiting historical sites.
